Crufts 2020. What an amazing dog show! What an amazing opportunity for Benyfit to spread the word about raw dog food and raw feeding. Almost 28,000 woofs of all shapes and sizes, stands that were selling everything dog-related you could ever want or didn't realise you needed (pawfume, anyone?), and lots and lots of people.
It’s paws down Benyfit Natural’s favourite dog show of the year.
We sent some of our roving reporters out on paw-patrol to see what was going on in the rest of the show. They met some pawsome people with their gorgeous dogs.
It’s such a joy to wander round the different categories, chatting to the competitors, young and old, all hoping to come away with a rosette.
We love the fact that alongside those vying for Best in Breed and Best in Show are the dogs and owners entering the Good Citizen Dog Scheme and Young Kennel Club.
There really is something for every dog.
Every dog at Crufts in a winner but for those competing for Best of Show, appearance does matter. Owners travel with their dogs from all over the world to show them at Crufts.
It’s a highlight in the doggy calendar and the largest dog show of its kind in the world.
So it’s no wonder that the pooches are carefully prepared for their big day and primed to look their very best. There are always some masterpieces in canine couture and stylish haircuts to be seen.
Back at the Benyfit Natural stand, we had a blast. We love meeting our customers, doggy and human, as well as talking about the benefits of raw feeding, introducing them to our amazing raw dog food collections and handing out treats to a new legion of fans.
Thank you to all of you who took the time to come and say hello and sample some delicious and nutritious food (hopefully just your dogs).
We also had some Crufts royalty stop by for a chat, broadcaster Clare Balding popped over to see our stand and posed with our very own Benyfit managing director, Greg Van Praagh.
We were also visited by one of the top dogs whom Benyfit Natural sponsor, Rapid the Parson Russell Terrier with his fab owner, Stacey Irwin-Burns.
Crufts 2020 ran from Thursday to Sunday and was non-stop furry fun. By the time Maisie, the wire-haired dachshund, was judged Best in Show (don’t mention the poo), we were all feeling a little tired and ready for our beds.
But what a fantastic show. Perfect pooches, enthusiastic owners and an amazing atmosphere. Here’s looking forward to Crufts 2021!
